 The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) preferred white clothes.  Right hand and right foot should enter first while wearing all kinds of clothes including clothes and pajamas.  For men, pajama, lungi, pants and shirt, jubba and aba should be kept on the ankles.  It is haram to wear clothes below the ankles.  Reciting this dua while dressing normally

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِيْ كَسَانِيْ هذَا الثَّوْبَ وَ رَزَقَنِيْه مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِنِّيْ وَ لاَ قُوَّةٍ

 It is better to wear pajamas that are half-length.  Permissible up to the ankle.  Round dress is better because it is more helpful in Satar Dhaka.  It is haram and forbidden for a man to wear women's cut clothes and to wear them, similarly for women to wear men's cut clothes and to wear them.  It is permissible for women to wear a saree.  However, salwar, kameez and flying veils are more protective, hence better.  It is not permissible to use clothes with pictures of animals.  It is forbidden to wear clothes that are so tight-fitting that the body parts are exposed.  Wearing foreign clothing is prohibited.  Hazrat Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam also used black and green cloth.  So it is mustahab to use these colored clothes occasionally.  Yellow-red, yellow, saffron and pink colors are prohibited for men.  And pure red is bad.  It is permissible for women to wear clothes of all colors.  To wear kameez, jama, korta, chadriya etc. it is sunnah to insert right hand first then left hand.  Similarly, it is Sunnah to put on the right foot first and then the left foot to wear the pajama.

 It is Sunnah to begin undressing by saying Bismillah and to take out the left hand and left foot first while undressing.

 Worshiping Allah Almighty wearing clothes, many sins are forgiven.

I don't want the clothes to be so good, the person who says such and such clothes are expensive, so and so clothes are beautiful, etc.  Because it shows pride.  And should not be mean, dirty and dirty at once.  Because it is not-thankful.  Basically, wear simple and modest clothes according to your condition.  Haraam for men to wear silk clothes.  It is forbidden for men to wear ornaments of any kind.  However, one siki 6 gram silver ring is permissible.  Ornaments that create music are also prohibited for women.
