 What is the Sunnah method of sitting in Majlis?

 1.  When sitting in a large assembly, sit together with others (do not leave a space in between) and in these cases the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, would say: What happened to you, I see you scattered.

 2.  Sahabah Kiram Razi.  They used to sit so firmly in the Prophet's court that their heads did not move, it was as if birds were sitting on their heads.  So the Majlis will sit like this.

 3.  The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbade sitting too crowded if the place of the majlis is wide and said that the best majlis is that which is spacious.  Because the audience is not satisfied if it is pressed.

 4.  After taking Tashreef in a Majlis, he will sit wherever he finds a place.

 5.  At the end of the majlis this dua will be recited.

سُبْحاَنَكَ اللّهُمَّ وَبِحَمدِكَ اَشْهَدُ اَنْ لاَّاِلَهَ الاّاَنْتَ اَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَاَتُوْبُ اِلَيْكَ

 6.  When there is a small majlis where the number of people is less, there is round seating.

 7.  Sitting together with each other while being rounded.

 8.  Sitting in Sunnah Tariqa.  That is - sitting on Surah Attahiyat.

 9.  Sitting with Mujahadah, i.e. listening to the narration, even if there is a lot of need.

 10.  If there is no pride, sitting on four knees can be done.

 11.  Some will not sit in the sun, some in the shade.  This is harmful to health.
