 What are the sunnah methods of eating food?


 1.  Wash both hands up to the wrist before eating.
 2.  Dine on dasturkhan.
 3.  Reading Bismillah at the beginning of the Khana.
 4.  Eat food with the right hand.
 5.  The initiation of Khana by one who is older and older in terms of age.
 6.  Do not find fault with food.


 7.  eat with three fingers
  The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to eat with three fingers.  This was his (sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam) way of eating and it is the best, unless otherwise required.
 Licking fingers after meal.  and to lick food containers thoroughly with the fingers.
 8.  One type of food is eating in front of oneself.  Three Sunnahs are found in the same Hadith:
  'O youth, mention the name of Allah, eat with your right (hand) and eat from what is in front of you.
 9. If you forget to read 'Bismillah' at the beginning of the prayer, remember only to read "Bismillahi Awayalahu Wa Akhirah".
 10.  If any part falls from the plate, pick it up and eat cleanly.
 11.  Eat with shoes off.
 12.  Do not lean while eating.
 13.  There are three ways to sit while eating.  A.  Raise both knees by pressing on the feet.  b.  Raise one knee and bend the other knee.  c.  both knees
 Eating while leaning slightly forward like sitting in prayer.
 14.  It is makruh to be completely silent while eating.  So they will talk to each other while eating.  But do not speak unnecessary words of worry and hate speech.


 15.  Wash both hands thoroughly after eating.
 16.  Wash your face after eating.
 17.  Reciting Du'a at the end of the meal and first raising the table and then getting up.
 18 Praise God after the meal:
  The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to recite:
  "All praise is due to Allah who gave me this food and drink and provided me with the ability to do so, so that there was no effort on my part, no strength was able."
