What are the Sunnah methods of applying body oil?

To apply oil on the body, first of all: Shurmana will be done from the right side.  Because the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to perform any work from the right side.

           To apply oil on the body, if you want to apply oil on your hands, first apply it on your right hand.  Then put it on the left hand.  If you want to apply oil on your feet in this way, first apply it on your right foot.  Then put it on the left leg.

           If you want to apply it on the body, do Shurmana from the right side of the body.  This is the Sunnat Tariqah.
